KANDAHAR BREAK

Synopsis:
It is 1999. The Taliban government rules Afghanistan with a fearsome grip. In the ancient city of Kandahar, a team of British bomb disposal experts works to rid the surrounding deserts of land mines - remnants of the country's recent decades of war. In this tyrannical world of fundamentalism and tribal feuding, a dangerous secret emerges in the team, leading to a violent manhunt through the mountains to the border with neighbouring Pakistan.

Escape is the only option. Death is the only the only alternative.

Filmed in the remote tribal region of Southern Pakistan, on the border with Afghanistan, 'Kandahar Break' is a brave, exciting and powerful story of love and betrayal from first-time British Director David Whitney.
